A showing of new works created by electro-acoustic composers Simon Charles (Melbourne) & Josten Myburgh (Perth). The duo have been exploring field recording, sound processing and unusual ways of amplifying electronic sounds using transducers, strings, magnets and other means, accompanying these sounds with live saxophone and percussion. We hope you can join us to listen to and discuss these new compositions.
The night will also feature a performance by experimental performance maker Noemie Huttner-Koros.
