Mohammed Ayo Busari 

Mohammed ‘Ayo Busari’ is a Nigerian award-winning Creative Artist + Writer, Producer + DJ, Entrepreneur & Media Personality. He is currently based in Boorloo, having lived in Nigeria and England previously. He is signed to his own Indie Label & Management Agency, Mobus Entertainment. He is also a member of the creative collective TAB Family in which he founded in 2019. As a creative artist, Ayo Busari, alongside his alter-ego, Yoruba Daddy, are all about capturing moments and memories in words, images and sound, be it photography, filmmaking, music-making, designing, live performances or writing.

A Visual Ode to the African Sound

‘A Visual Ode to the African Sound’ is an art project that focuses on the importance of African sound to its people. This project also represents an African woman who is strong, confident, beautiful, creative and energetic. It’s a project that gives us Africans the opportunity to visually memorialise and celebrate the different types of African sound – which we all hold on to as great value and significance in our culture, history, communities and heritage. Thus, we use these images as a way to address how the African sound makes us feel, as well as to praise, glorify and honour sounds coming out from the Continent of  Africa, be it the past, present or future.
