SHAYNE O’DONNELL
CONSTANT KEENING TO WHISPERED LAMENTS
30 APRIL – 21 MAY 2022
GALLERY 2

These large works on paper are in essence a memento mori. From their vivid beginnings to their inevitable fading, it is a documentation of process.
The gestural manner reflects a fall
A death in a momentHand and mind in motion
Both tender and abruptA constant keening gives way to whispered laments
As fruit dries and fades.
